胡恩美，女，1985年出生，中共党员，博士研究生。2021年毕业于南京农业大学园艺学院蔬菜专业，硕博连读期间硕士时学习番茄遗传育种知识，转博后研究方向为番茄抗逆生理生态。在校期间曾连续获得“优秀研究生一等奖学金”、 “研究生二等学业奖学金”和“优秀研究生干部”、“优秀志愿者”等称号。
在园艺类期刊Scientia Horticulturae发表题为“Relationship between melatonin and abscisic acid in response to salt stress of tomato”论文1篇，在Acta Physiologiae Plantarum上发表题为“The composition of pericarp, cell aging, and changes in water absorption in two tomato genotypes: mechanism, factors, and potential role in fruit cracking”论文1篇，在中文核心期刊发表题为“番茄抗黄化曲叶病基因研究进展”和“含Ty-5基因番茄材料的引进,评价及利用”等论文。
